Recently, the TN50-JKKN (Jabatan Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Negara or Department of National Culture and Arts) Workshop and Dialogue Session took place at the Seri Pasific Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. More than 50 members of JKKN’s top management were attendance for the session, led by TN50 Ambassador Dr Juliana Lim.
JKKN Director General YBhg Tan Sri Norliza binti Rofli, Deputy Director General (Policies & Planning) Mohamad Razy bin Mohamad Nor and Deputy Director General (Culture & Arts) Dato’ Mod Zaky bin Haji Din were among the top individuals that graced the session.
Workgroup activities were the order of the evening with national aspirations presented by participants from clusters such as economy & Human capital, living & prosperity, Government & civil services, lifestyle and community.
Among all aspirations that were put forward, the highlight was catalysing intellectual property for national culture and art as a big step forward towards strengthening our nation’s unity and harmony.
The session also explored the foresight of Malaysia’s national identity and one of the most important challenges that we currently face, and will continue to do so for decades to come,; Industry 4.0
The evening concluded with a TN50 presentation by Dr Juliana followed by a dialogue and Q&A session.
