Kuala Lumpur, 11 July 2019: IPEC Global Legacy 2019 Recognition Gala press conference took place at Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur Managed by Banyan Tree which was organised by IPEC Bureau and My Events International. This event was supported by Tourism Malaysia, Ministry of International Trade and Industry Malaysia (MITI), Standards Malaysia and Ministry of Youth & Sports.
IPEC Global Legacy 2019 Recognition Gala is expected to be held on 23rd July 2019. IPEC Global Legacy 2019 honours and celebrates inspirational individuals from various professions and communities with legacies that would become the benchmark and source of pride for generations to come.
The Gala is held in conjunction with the APEC Capacity Building on ISO/IEC 17024 Certification of Persons to Support People-To-People Connectivity & Talent Mobility workshop from 23 – 25 July 2019.
Government officials from 21 APEC economies would be officially participating in the Gala. Thus, between 300 to 350 attendees from ASEAN countries and other major nations such as South Korea, Japan, China and Hong Kong were expected to come.
Nominees for IPEC Global Legacy 2019 were selected on the merits and strengths of their professional achievements and social contributions, demonstrating outstanding dedication to the community and exceptional leadership qualities.
Gracing the press conference as the Guests of Honour were YB Datuk Seri Panglima Madius Tangau, Deputy Chief Minister of Sabah & State Minister of Trade and Industry, YBhg and Datuk Ahmad Shah Hussein Tambakau, Chairman of Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board.
The Gala is receiving full support from Delux Stainless Steel Sdn Bhd, Quest International University Perak, Carbi Deco Sdn Bhd, Association of International Certified Aesthetician and Diamond Lucky Asia Co. Ltd (Cambodia) as sponsors alongside My Events International as official event partner.
